Lexunera provides self-paced language learning content across the languages offered in the app, AI-generated conversation practice, voice and video tutor sessions, gamified exercises and related digital features. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Lexunera is an educational tool: we make no promise that you will reach any particular level of fluency, pass any exam, or achieve any specific result within any timeframe. Marketing statements such as “speak a new language in 3 months” are illustrative of typical motivated usage, not a guarantee.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to purchase. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you provide at checkout, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable; sharing access with others is prohibited.

Plans are sold as subscription terms (1 week, 1 month or 3 months). By completing checkout you authorise Lexunera and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method the total shown at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes.

Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the current term, your subscription renews automatically for a further term of the same length and is charged at the then-current standard price for that plan. Introductory, promotional and wheel-of-fortune discounts apply to the first term only and do not carry over to renewals. Renewal prices may differ from your initial price.

Price changes. We may change prices, plan contents and feature availability at any time. Changes affecting renewals take effect from your next renewal date and we will notify you by email in advance where required by law.

Failed payments. If a charge fails we may retry it, suspend access, and/or terminate the subscription. You remain liable for amounts due.

The table below shows the introductory (first-term) price and the standard price that applies automatically to every renewal, unless you cancel before the term ends. All amounts are in US dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is added at checkout.

Example. If you buy the 1 week plan at the introductory price of $4.99, you are charged $4.99 today and then $29.90 every month, starting one week after purchase, until you cancel.

Any additional discount obtained through a promotion, promo code or the on-site discount wheel (up to 20% off) is applied to the first-term price only. It never applies to renewals, and the renewal amount remains the standard price for your plan shown above (or the then-current standard price if prices have changed).

Add-ons. The Ad-Free upgrade is $4.99 and, where offered as a recurring add-on, renews monthly at $4.99. Coin packs are one-off purchases priced from $2.99 to $29.99 as shown in the shop at the time of purchase and do not renew.

Prices shown in the app at the moment of purchase prevail over this page if the two differ.

Coins, hearts, ad-free upgrades, tutor call minutes and other in-app items are digital licences for use inside the Service only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for money, and are non-refundable once delivered to your account. Unused items expire when your account is closed or terminated.

You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@lexunera.app. Cancellation stops future renewals only. It does not shorten, refund or pro-rate the term you have already paid for: you keep access until the end of the paid period, after which the account reverts to limited free access. Requests received after a renewal has been charged apply to the following term.

All purchases are final. The Service is digital content delivered instantly. By purchasing you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once access has been granted.

We do not provide refunds or credits for: partially used terms, unused periods, forgotten cancellations, renewals you did not intend, dissatisfaction with progress, lack of usage, device or connectivity issues on your side, or purchases of coins, hearts and other virtual items.

Where a money-back guarantee is expressly advertised for a specific offer, that guarantee applies only on its published terms and only if claimed in writing within the stated window.

Discretionary goodwill refunds may be granted in cases of duplicate charges or verified technical failure that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time. Any such refund is granted at our sole discretion and does not create a precedent. Refunds are made to the original payment method and may exclude payment-processing fees. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

Conversation, voice and video tutor features rely on artificial intelligence and third-party providers. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or culturally inappropriate and must not be relied on as professional, legal, medical or translation advice. Availability of any specific avatar, voice or provider may change or be withdrawn without notice; equivalent functionality may be substituted.

You may not copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or publicly redistribute Service content; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; use it to generate abusive, unlawful or harassing content; automate access; or circumvent usage limits, hearts, coins or paywalls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section without refund.

All content, lesson material, audio, characters, mascots, software and branding are owned by Lexunera or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own language learning while your subscription is active. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Feedback you send us may be used freely and without compensation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexunera excludes all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability and error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, profits, opportunity or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid to Lexunera in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. We may terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms, fraud, chargeback abuse or unlawful use, without refund. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms. The updated version takes effect when published on this page, and continued use of the Service or renewal of a subscription constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app where required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
